LOGO EXPLAINED
Our inspiration derived from Archangel Michael - who lead and won a war in heavens to defeat the forces of evil. Saint Michael is mentioned in Judaism (Hebrew Bible), Christianity (New Testament) and Islam (Quran), as a positive and protecting influence to humankind. Our motto describes the benefits of martial arts: Fortius (stronger), Salubrius (Healthier) and Tutius (Safer).
COMPETITION SPIRIT
We believe in the progressive betterment of ourselves, as athletes and as persons, through our efforts to overcome the obstacles and adversities of challenging competitions. Grappling Arts are first a sport for us, not a primary tool to achieve personal safety. We believe interest-based negotiation, conflict de-escalation and Christian values to be more effective in avoiding physical confrontations.
